The staff were amazing and the hotel is quirky and fun. Very hot water available, good shower, comfortable bed, plenty of space in the room and lovely soap/shampoo provided. The hotel has a great ethical approach and offers to plant a tree if you skip the room cleaning (if you want to). The breakfast was absolutely fabulous, a huge selection of really good quality cooked and cold food was available, including things like shakshuka cooked to order. Amazing view of the city skyline from the restaurant balcony. The finest real sourdough bread and real cheese selection were a highlight, even though I am not veggie or vegan I was impressed with the catering for these groups too. Beware the sauna if you are not used to naked German customs!!!

Our sixth-floor room overlooked the cathedral and the cityscape. The bed - arguably the most important feature - was cloud-like in its comfort. Special mention goes to front desk manager Annika, who secured us our lovely room & a Christmas breakfast at NENI's. The sauna, with its panoramic views, became our daily winter retreat. For travelers seeking a hotel that combines style, comfort, and genuine warmth, this place delivers in spades.

Excellent location, walking distance from the Dome and near a lively street full of bars and restaurants. Car park conveniently located near the hotel and if full there's another multi storey car park across the street, €25 per 24h. The room was clean, loved the unusual and futuristic design, the drinks in the fridge free, but no coffee or tea making facilities ( didn't matter to us). The Monkey bar from level 8 👌 Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and room was cleaned daily. This is my new fav. hotel when in Cologne!

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in! Humorous space theme throughout, loved the little alien teddy on the bed! Free mini bar beers! Lovely helpful staff. Lots and lots of quirky, funky features like LPs and record decks, table football, work space with cafe on the ground floor. Lovely building too. 15-20 mins walk from the Hbf, can catch the metro 2 stops if you want. Plenty of food places and bars nearby. Absolutely recommended!

Also a TON of hotel bikes in the lobby. Great coffee bar/co-working space, a record shop, a rack of Walkmans with a cassette tape library... all very "cool" but also very cool.
